The opportunity.

Jibestream is looking for a Sales Engineer. Our business is rapidly scaling and we need more executives to join the sales team to keep up with the demand. We are looking for someone who knows how to bridge customer requirements with technical solutions. Someone who can deliver amazing demos and build relationships. We are looking for a Product Manager or Sales Engineer to step into the into the driver’s seat and own the customer relationship from start to close. This is a role for someone who wants to join a company that is breaking new ground linking indoor mapping IoT in for use cases that have only just now become a reality.

Who are you?

You are an experienced Product Manager or Sales Engineer who wants to take on a new client-facing role. You want to move from behind-the-scenes primarily working with internal teams to front-and-centre converting prospects. You enjoy being at the intersection of technology, marketing and people. You believe the answer is found where data and intention meet. To that end, you understand how customer feedback informs product and product development influences customer expectations. You know how to identify the “right” customer (not just any customer) for the product. You want a new role where you can leverage your technical knowledge to have peer-to-peer conversations that educate potential clients on the benefits of the platform and why they should use it.

What do you bring?

  • The ideal combination of education and experience. You have a university degree in Business or Technology. You are very familiar with presenting technical solutions that solve complex customer problems or enhance the end-user experience.
  • Technical knowledge. You have an in-depth understanding of SDKs and APIs. You are able to run the demonstration and answer technical inquiries around function and integration at a detailed level.
  • Relationship building skills. You may be competitive in nature but you have a deep appreciation for the team you work with. You value mentorship and you are happy to coach others. You know how to work with clients at all levels and gain their trust.

What will you do?

  • Close the deals. You will use your technical expertise, combined with your winning attitude, to close multiple recurring deals.
  • Follow the leads. You will increase our business by following up on leads generated by marketing as well as your own cold-calling.
  • Track. You will develop lists of prospects, leads and sales efforts in the CRM system and move them through the funnel.
  • Cultivate the territory. You will build relationships. You will proactively qualify clients while continuously nurturing new and existing supportive relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Drive. You will drive your pipeline, following our sales process. From account analysis, proposal and project planning, presentations and ongoing support throughout the sales cycle.
